Art brings us closer together
The exhibition "Art Brings Us Together" continues its tour across Lithuania
After an inspiring and successful debut at the Druskininkai sanatorium "Belorus", where works of art met a space of recovery and inner peace, and after a warm welcome at the Public Institution "Veprių akademija", where the exhibition was on from March 29 to May 4, the project initiated by the Republican Resocialization Center continues to travel through Lithuanian cities and towns, spreading the message about the power of art to unite people.
This exhibition is not just about paintings. It is about life stories captured in colors and lines. Authentic voices telling stories about loneliness and hope, struggle and rebirth, silence and the loud cry of feelings. From sensitive nature motifs to abstract whirlwinds of emotions, each work proves that art has no borders. It is created not only by famous names, but also by those who struggle with social exclusion every day, but find strength in their creativity.
In each new location, the exhibition becomes a sensitive cultural event, inviting residents to stop, listen, and look deeper – not just at the paintings, but also at themselves. It is an invitation to experience the magic of art – the magic that connects different lives into a common story.
Traveling art exhibition "Art brings us closer"
The traveling art exhibition “Art – Brings Us Together” is currently at the Central Lithuania Branch of the Lithuanian Probation Service, at Kęstučio St. 37, Kaunas.
This is not just an art exhibition – it is a living sign of community and openness. Different worlds, experiences and stories of people meet here. The exhibition presents works by professional artists, community members and convicts, who are united by a common message – art has the power to connect, heal and open a new perspective. The exhibition invites you to think about the importance of community and how creativity can become a bridge between people – regardless of their life path. Visit, feel, let art speak.
Most importantly, your community can also become a part of this journey. The exhibition "Art Brings Us Together" is completely free to attend. This is a great opportunity not only to decorate your space with art, but also to create a meaningful meeting, where art becomes the foundation of togetherness.
The exhibition will soon be knocking on the door of your city. Let yourself be immersed in a world where color becomes a bridge between souls.
An exhibition Art Brings Us Together has opened at the Ministry of Justice.
At the Ministry of Justice, the exhibition "Art Brings Us Together" has opened, showcasing impressive works by inmates that reveal the power of creativity, the human inner world, and its connection with the surrounding environment.
The artworks speak about peace, ecology, and human responsibility for the environment as well as relationships with others. Each piece is not only an artistic expression but also a personal message, inviting reflection on the values that unite us regardless of life circumstances.
This initiative is yet another proof that artistic expression can become a bridge between different experiences, social groups, and communities.
Creativity not only helps to express oneself but also to find a path toward inner dialogue, respect, and empathy.
We thank everyone who contributed to the creation of this exhibition and invite you to explore works that speak from the heart.
First Take Premiere
The long-awaited premiere of the play "First Take" took place – a special evening marked by the joy of creativity, the power of togetherness, and warm applause.
This project is our very first step on stage, born out of a desire to create, to communicate, and to share. We are especially grateful to the people who came together to bring this initiative to life – without your dedication, creativity, and belief, this play would not have happened.
On the day of the premiere, we were honored by the presence of distinguished guests – representatives from the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, ministries, and other institutions. Their presence in the audience meant a great deal to us – it is an important recognition and encouragement to keep moving forward.
We thank everyone who was with us – whether on stage, behind the scenes, or in the audience. This is just the first take. And only the beginning.
